Training Tips for Choosing the Right Class
When it comes to selecting the perfect training class for you and your furry friend, there are several key factors to consider to ensure the best learning environment and outcomes. Here are some tips to guide you in making an informed decision:
Opt for Small Class Sizes
The size of the class significantly impacts the quality of training you and your dog will receive. Large classes with 9 or more dogs can make it challenging to receive the individualized attention necessary for effective learning. Our classes are intentionally kept small, with a limited number of dogs, allowing our certified trainers to provide personalized guidance and support to each participant.
Review the Curriculum
Before enrolling, take the time to check the curriculum thoroughly. Ensure it covers the specific issues and commands you're interested in addressing with your dog. A well-structured curriculum tailored to your needs is crucial for achieving your training goals.
Verify Trainer Credentials
The expertise and reliability of the trainer are paramount. Always request at least two vet references for any dog trainer you're considering. We are proud to offer 45 vet references, underscoring our commitment to excellence and trustworthiness in the field of dog training.
Consistency in Schedule and Location
Our classes meet at the same location and time for a pre-determined number of weeks, depending on the specialization. This consistency is vital for establishing a routine and ensuring steady progress throughout the course.
